Wedding Ting and Tings…
I have decided that all wedding updates should go in my Faerie section, because it feels like that. I am so giddy over this all, it reminds me of a pantomime come to life and I think all of life should feel like this. All of it…
Philadelphia has this HUGE park called Fairmount Park and I had wanted to get married under the cherry blossom trees which are near the Art Museum. However, when I contacted them yesterday to see if I need a permit, they informed me that there is only one place designated for weddings and it is not there. Boo.
However, the place you can get married is beautiful in it’s own right. It is a rock garden and has a small waterfall. I have seen people getting married there before and thought that it looked so tranquil, so I am not really bummed. I just need to remove the stubborn me that had her heart set on something…
The beautiful e bond also gave me information for this marriage-er Woman who does nondenominational weddings. Apparently she has this book full of hippy-dippy ceremonies and you pick which one you would like. I wonder if she has one about The Great Cunt in The Void..?
The bridesmaids are set: e bond, The Foot and Kaya. So are the flowers! We are going to have Tulips (my favourite) and Gardenia’s (his).
I have decided to be barefoot for the ceremony as I can’t walk in high heels and foo-foo girlie shoes make me wanna puke when I think about myself in them. I am not sure that my new New Rock boots would be completely appropriate. Anyway, barefoot appeases the hippy in me, so I am cool with that…
Asher Smasher leaves for Japan for 2 weeks on Tuesday.
I shouldn’t really cry as it will be GREAT for him. He is playing geetar for the Jazzyfatnastees tour over there. I told Tracey she has to give him hugs every 2 days. If anyone here knows Tracey, you will know how happy he will be for that. For those that don’t, imagine regular hugs from Jessica Rabbit!
Let’s hope Joni was wrong when she said, “You can’t hold the hand of a rock and roll man…”

Question for the British
How do you explain “It’s a bit Laura Ashley” to an American? I can’t think of anything to say. Laura Ashley is Laura Ashley, no more need be said…
